Infants

  • 1st semester: exclusive breastfeeding is recommended by the World Health Organization for ideal growth, development and health. In cases of allergy and / or intolerance, reduced milk production or reduced weight intake, formula milk is given or hypoallergenic or lactose free, etc.
  • 2nd semester: gradual introduction of solid food to avoid allergies. They start in parallel with breastfeeding, cereals, fruits and vegetables in the 6th month and from the 7th the white and red meat
  • 1st year: import of fish and eggs, dairy and at the end of the 1st year the fresh milk

Children

Depending on gender, age, weight, height, head circumference and BMI in the curves we see the course of growth and aim at the optimal possible increase in height and weight.

  • From the 2nd year it is recommended that all dairy products to be semi-fat and the moderate use of table salt
  • Avoid sugar and soft drinks
  • Avoid junk food
  • Consume food only when children want to complete the meal without pressure and persistence if they feel premature satiety
  • At least 1 meal on weekdays and 3 main meals on weekends the whole family sits together at the dining table
  • Involvement during meal preparation, tasting and contact with a variety of foods
  • Start physical activity depending on age or walk with the whole family
  • Avoid eating meals in front of screen surfaces (TV, computer, tablet, smartphones)
  • Avoid being rewarded with food, sweets and calorie high fat meals
  • Adequate sleep for their age
